About ArkansasPinnacle Hills Promenade Regional Shopping Mall is a 980,000 square foot open air regional center located in the fastest growing area in Arkansas. Visitors can take in a movie, stroll along the boulevard of shops or dine at The Promenade restaurants. The center is encompassed in lush landscaping, fountains and quaint architecture. Crystal Bridges-Museum of American Art is an institution dedicated to American art and American artists. The museum complex houses a near 100,000 square feet of art galleries, a library, a 250-seat indoor auditorium, areas for outdoor concerts/events, sculpture gardens and walking trails. Walton's Five and Dime is the original general store of Sam Walton’s Wal-Mart empire. Still boasting its original 1945’s façade the interior has been transformed into a Wal-Mart visitor’s center. Pea Ridge Military Park is 4300 acres that preserves the site of the 1862 Civil War battle. Here, over 150 years ago, 26,000 soldiers clashed during a 2 day battle. The battlefield features the Elkhorn Tavern, visitor’s center, museum, a 2.5-mile segment of the "Trail of Tears" and self-guided tours are available.

Reconstructing Art Walk May 16 - July 27, 2008
Run by the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, this walk will showcase the numerous construction projects that Bentonville has undergone as well as past participating artists. The 2008 Star Days July 22 - 25, 2008 An annual four day STAR Touring and Riding International rally where bikers get together to ride, meet up with acquaintances, see in products from Yamaha Star motorcycles, relax and most of all have fun. This is the largest gathering of Star motorcycles in North America. 33rd Annual The Saturday Bentonville's Farmer's Market September 6 - November 1, 2008 This historic market event offers fresh produce, plants, baked goods, and handcrafted items. Family-friendly entertainment, hands-on demonstrations or lecture series are available throughout the entire event. 2nd Annual Pinnacle Hills Art Festival September 5 - 7, 2008 Pinnacle Hills Art Festival has a street-fair atmosphere featuring artists from all over the USA in an array of exhibits along the shops and restaurants of the Pinnacle Hills Shopping Center. Bikes, Blues & Barbeque September 25, 26, 27, 2008 Bikes, Blues & Barbeque is the largest charitable bike rally in the US with more than 100,000 bikes expected to show this year. Along with many other performers, the Allman Brothers will be headlining the event and don't forget the world famous BBQ. Spanker Creek Farm Arts & Crafts Fair October 15 - 19, 2008 This is a great outdoor family fun event. Browse through the work of many talented artists and then relax and enjoy the incredible food of the region. War Eagle Craft Fair Oct. 16-19 2008 The War Eagle Craft Fair is the number one craft fair in Arkansas. Come early to insure a full weekend's worth shopping among the more than 300 exhibitors.
